I enjoy searching for creative and classically-inspired ways to get to the heart of a story and express the director’s vision. I’m as comfortable shooting film as any digital format, but my true passion is in lighting, and the planning involved in developing a visual narrative. I believe the tools and technology should always serve the story first.
My most recent narrative feature work is the Taiwanese film River of Forgetfulness. When I’m not working, I enjoy shooting projects with friends, traveling, learning languages, and meeting creative people.
